Project Description
On behalf of Tata Steel, we provided construction management for the Blast Furnace 6 Revamp Project. This was an intensive and challenging job where we focused on multiple key components of the blast furnace.
- Construction management for the dust removal installation, hydraulic systems, furnace houses including furnace house machinery
- Placement of the Hoods Above Taphole (Forge hoods) for significant emission reduction during open drilling and closing of the taphole for molten iron
- Completed without significant incidents. Safety always came first!
The project was successfully and to the correct quality standards completed in March 2024.
